First step: remove waistband & zipper
Second step: make a belly band; tutorial here (or buy a bella band)
Third step: sew pants up where zipper was
Fourth step: attach belly band to pants, sew belly band to pants.
Tadaaa!
As you can see in the last photo that its a full panel, but you can also fold it over, I personally prefer to fold it down.
These pants cost me $4.99 at goodwill on tag day & cost me about $2-3 to make my own belly band!
